Yuriy Danko

Yuriy Danko is vice-rector for research and international activities at Sumy National Agrarian University (Ukraine), doctor of economic sciences and professor. His research focuses on agricultural economics, competitiveness, marketing, and sustainable rural development. He is the author of more than 120 scientific publications and actively participates in international research and capacity-building projects, including Erasmus+. Prof. Danko has completed academic internships and training at the University of Oxford (UK), the University of Georgia (USA) and the Jagiellonian University (Poland). During the war, he coordinated volunteer initiatives, including the evacuation of students from occupied areas and the delivery of essential medicines to Sumy. He works to strengthen international partnerships and to integrate Ukrainian higher education into the European and global academic space.
