Maggie Mahoney

Dr. Maggie Mahoney is the director of global engagement at the University of Houston Institute for Global Engagement. She has over 15 years of experience in higher education. At the University of Houston, Dr. Mahoney leads efforts for strategic internationalization, including global program development, study abroad, student global competence development, risk management, and global partnerships. Maggie is a Fulbright Scholar, having completed the Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrator’s program in India. She earned an EdD in ethical leadership from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, a master’s degree in education in higher education administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and a BA in French from the Centenary College of Louisiana.
