EuroAsia Agent Workshop expands in MENA region

The Euro-Asia Agent Workshop in Turkey is expanding and has announced a partnership with YEDAB, Turkey’s “Association of Study Abroad Counselors” for this year’s event.

The EuroAsia Agent Workshop covers a large area responsible for 20% of the global education demand

Organised by IEFT- International Education Fairs of Turkey, the EuroAsia Agent Workshop is a B2B platform which focuses on bringing international educators together with around 200 agents who operate in Middle East, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Balkan Countries, CIS Region and Africa.

At this year’s fifth iteration of the event, as well as counting on the support of YEDAB, IEFT will be staging the EuroAsia Awards for the second year.

“We have organised the first EuroAsia Awards Ceremony in 2018 and the next one will be organized on 28th October 2019,” explained IEFT’s Ayse Peker .

“The winners will be announced in a major ceremony during the EuroAsia Welcome Reception which will enable all participants to network with sector leaders.”

Eurasia is an important and strategic region for the international education sector with 1.5 million students are enrolled from these countries every year.

The EuroAsia Agent Workshop covers a large area responsible for 20% of the global education demand. The registered agents are either owners, directors or decision makers of their companies. A typical agent list is here.

IEFT is a leading organiser of student fairs in the region with more than 350 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors per year. YEDAB –  Association of Study Abroad Counselors – was founded in May, 2013, with the aim of bringing unity and cooperation to the student recruitment industry.

YEDAB has more than 59 Turkish and 158 international members right now and is rapidly growing, attested Peker.

“EuroAsia Awards” honours the best performance of educators and agents through a voting system. Apart from scheduled meetings, the international educators will be able to nominate in the EuroAsia Awards Ceremony in 14 categories. There will be also one category for the most active agents in the region.
