Universities in Scotland are calling for a change to the planned 'no-deal' visa arrangements, which would allow EU students three years in the UK to study, despite most degrees in Scotland taking four years to complete, with one government minister calling it "outrageous".
The University of Glasgow has won Hotcourses Abroad's global photo contest, winning a £500 bursary for an international student of their choosing thanks to a photograph of Glasgow's skyline taken by student William Newman. More than 6,500 votes were cast in total for a shortlist of 29 entries.
Kaplan International and the University of Glasgow have opened two new residences for international students in Glasgow, with Kaplan committing £24 million to the project over 15 years. The halls, which are part of Glasgow International College, will cater to 276 students.
