University students in the UK are joining a class action to demand compensation for the class time they lost during the UCU-UUK industrial dispute earlier this year.
Lecturers at some UK universities walked out on 22 February, and strike action will continue intermittently until 16 March. The dispute surrounds pensions plans, which the UCU says are unfair.
