New South Wales in Australia has a submitted a plan to the federal government to bring 250 international students back to the state per fortnight from mid-2021.
An Indonesian student who provides early childhood reading sessions and an Iraqi student who organises driving lessons for other Iraqi women are among the students featured in a videos series focused on international students in NSW.
New South Wales, Australia's top study destination, celebrated the outstanding contribution of its international students and their institutions to the local community at the 2014 NSW International Student Awards ceremony held at the Sydney Opera House last week. A range of initiatives were recognised including advocating for other international students and working with refugees.
