The UK Council of International Student Affairs has warned that the large drop in student visas issued this year masks an even more serious situation in individual sectors that is leaving many providers at risk. T4 visa applications to study at language schools have fallen by 76% and FE colleges by 67%, although there has been a hike in student visitor visas issued.
