Pearson has announced its next phase of locations across the world where candidates can access its Secure English Language Test.

Pearson will offer SELT services in a further 26 locations in 17 countries in the latest phase of its rollout of the UKVI-approved exam.

Skills for English, a new language test from PSI Services and the Scottish Qualifications Authority, has been approved as a SELT. 

Pearson PTE has announced the third phase of locations where people can now take PTE as a Secure English Language Test for UKVI purposes.

The UK Home Office has increased the number of English language test providers who can offer Secure English Language Tests.

On April 6, the UK government announced that it was reducing the number of approved providers of Secure English Language Tests – those that can be used to support a visa application for sub-degree applications – from four to two. Beckie Smith assesses the impact.
