A sponsorship program for refugee students has launched in the US to enable colleges and universities to "play a leading role" in their resettlement.

The Institute of International Education in the US is looking to offer additional support for students from Afghanistan and Haiti.

FutureLearn has teamed up with 16 humanitarian agencies and children's rights organisations to host a course about the needs of unaccompanied and separated refugee children.
