China MoE moves to close int’l student loopholes

China's MoE has announced the latest batch of joint programs and institutes, including 36 joint degree programs with overseas universities at bachelor's degree level and above, and two joint institutes.
The Chinese Ministry of Education has unveiled its policy points with regards to "opening education to the outside world" for 2019. In a document released online, the ministry outline 34 aims, with "six major aspects".
There were 343,400 foreign students in the French higher education system, signalling a growth of 4.5% since 2016 according to figures released by the Ministry of Education.
