Kaplan International has scooped an award for its "Exporting Excellence", selected by a panel of judges for UK-based Education Investor magazine and commended in particular for its market impact in sub-Saharan Africa.

International English language courses and university preparation programmes provider, Kaplan International, is expanding its global footprint with its first office in Mexico to meet demand from Mexican students wanting to study abroad. Kaplan currently serves around 150 Mexican students and has opened a new centre in Polanco, Mexico City.

Kaplan International and the University of Glasgow have opened two new residences for international students in Glasgow, with Kaplan committing £24 million to the project over 15 years. The halls, which are part of Glasgow International College, will cater to 276 students.
