International schools boom in Hong Kong

Data is painting a picture of rampant demand in Hong Kong for English medium education, with new international school expansions unlikely to keep up with booming demand in the former British territory. ISC data shows that the number of international schools has shot up from 92 to 171 in the last 14 years.

ISC event to link UK HE to schools worldwide

A seminar aiming to bridge the gap between university international admissions and the some 5,000 international secondary schools worldwide will be held in the UK next month. Research organisation the International School Consultancy Group (ISC) will hold the event to provide tips and guidance on how to capitalise on recruitment opportunities from this market

China helping fuel global high school market

New data from the UK's ISC reveals further growth in international students at independent schools, with students from China and Hong Kong accounting for almost 40% of overseas intake. Research from China also indicates a boom in demand for high school education overseas. Meanwhile the first China-US high school in Shanghai has been announced.
