After seeing a boom in demand from very young learners, from this September, International House World Organisation will offer a new online qualification aimed at training teachers to work with learners aged six and below.
From this September, students studying at International House Manchester will be able to carry on their education at 25 universities across the UK, USA and Canada. The school has recently signed an agreement with pathway provider NCC Education to offer the International Foundation Year programme.
International House World Organisation has expanded its network of schools to include centres in Italy, Angola, Russia and Germany, bringing its total number of affiliate schools to 158. IHWO’s Chief Operating Officer Lucy Horsefield said: “Our organization is growing steadily at the moment".
After seeing "dramatic" growth in Angolan students travelling to South Africa to study, International House Cape Town has opened a new English Language school in Angola's capital city Luanda. The school also signed three memorandum of understandings to open language schools at private local universities.

International House Language Schools Group, a 20-strong chain of IH schools, has launched a social network enabling students to practise speaking English with others around the world. The organisation hopes to boost practice outside the classroom and lead users towards its other services and programmes.
