One of the longest-established language schools in the UK, Torquay International School, has become the latest addition to the International House network.

International House has opened IH Medellín, located in the nation's second city, to capitalise on a growing economy after success in Bogotá.

The popular Canadian destination of Toronto will soon have another English language school in town, with IH Toronto opening in January 2018.

The International House World Organisation directors' conference highlighted the importance of student well-being and safety, stating it wants to be an "industry leader" in this area.

After seeing a boom in demand from very young learners, from this September, International House World Organisation will offer a new online qualification aimed at training teachers to work with learners aged six and below.
