The International House World Organisation directors' conference highlighted the importance of student well-being and safety, stating it wants to be an "industry leader" in this area.
International House World Organisation has welcomed its second affiliate school in Thailand. IH Chiang Mai is the group's second school in Thailand and brings IHWO's total portfolio of schools to 159. The new school opened in January, 12 years after its counterpart in Bangkok.
International House World Organisation has added two new English language schools and a dedicated teacher training centre in Ecuador to its brand, bringing its total number of schools to 160 in 52 different countries.
International House World Organisation has launched a new partner agency scheme designed to recognise its trusted network of agents, improve communication and act as a kitemark of quality for students. The scheme aims for around 100 agents within the first year across 54 countries.
After seeing a boom in demand from very young learners, from this September, International House World Organisation will offer a new online qualification aimed at training teachers to work with learners aged six and below.
International House World Organisation has expanded its network of schools to include centres in Italy, Angola, Russia and Germany, bringing its total number of affiliate schools to 158. IHWO’s Chief Operating Officer Lucy Horsefield said: “Our organization is growing steadily at the moment".
Both International House World Organisation (IHWO) and the International Association of Language Centres (IALC) have grown to include new language schools this month. IHWO has added three new locations bringing its membership total up to 156 schools, while IALC has added new schools in Spain and the UK to its network.
