ICEF and PIER launch agent finder app

ICEF and Australia's PIER, two companies which collaborate on the delivery of the ICEF's various agent training courses, have announced a new app which allows users to find any qualified education counsellor based on a GPS location tool.

Australia, Canada ascend in Agent Barometer survey

There are no major upsets in the list of top-ranked study destinations in the 2014 edition of the ICEF i-graduate Agent Barometer, however the latest education agent-based poll reflects Australia's upturn as a study destination. And this year, the USA and Canada tied in first place for overall attractiveness of a study destination.

ICEF puts €7,000 towards youth travel safety

The ICEF Education Fund, the charitable arm of events and networking firm ICEF will donate €7,000 to support Travel Safe International, the educational and training division of international charity Child-Safe, which works to safeguard and protect children involved in educational, cultural or language trips overseas.

ICEF North America welcomes many first-timers

A record 1,000 educators, exhibitors, speakers and agents attended ICEF's North America workshop in Miami this month, making the three-day event the largest of its kind in North America. 14% of the 402 agents attending had not been to an ICEF workshop before, contributing to an increase of 24% in participants overall.
