Some British universities paid out six-figure support to international students in 2021/22, but others are now rolling back funding despite the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Much like 2020, this year has been hard on international students. We saw a continuation of the chaos and confusion caused by the pandemic, with those who wished to study abroad having to navigate an ever-changing picture of travel restrictions and vaccine and quarantine requirements.
Thousands of hardship fund applications made by international students to UK universities were rejected during Covid-19, The PIE News has learnt.
