Study abroad company GoAbroad honoured a man who led efforts to get families from Ukraine to safety after the invasion of the European country began.

GoAbroad announced the winners of its 14 categories at the annual GoAbroad Innovation Awards during the NAFSA conference in Denver.

From innovative new programs focusing on study, volunteering and teaching to a healthcare project in Fiji, GoAbroad handed out awards to 13 winners selected from over 300 nominations at its award ceremony held at NAFSA.
