International students at two-thirds of 268 German universities were unable to continue their summer studies due to Covid-19, a DAAD survey has revealed.
Overseas students registered at German universities passed a record 250,000 in 2011 with the largest group coming from China. This is up from 233,600 in 2008 with those from overseas now representing 11.4% of all students in Germany, according to a new report from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
