ELT accreditors make strides in global alliance

The Quality Assurance in Language Education Network, a worldwide network of English language accreditation bodies, has officially launched its website and branding this month, following a symposium in Malta. The developments put the organisation on track to create a forum for sharing best practice and comparing accreditation systems used in different countries.

FELTOM steers toward adult market, quality assurance

Traditionally a market for short-term junior courses, Malta's English school sector is aiming to attract longer-term, mature students. The country’s ELT representative body, the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisation, expects 2014 figures to show more growth after strong increases in 2013.
