UNICENTRES, a university pathways brand offered by leading language chain Eurocentres, has recently announced its sixth UK partner for its International Business Foundation programme, the University of Essex.
In its first US expansion move, Oxford International Education Group (OIEG), formerly known as ISIS Education, has acquired its first ELT school in San Diego, which joins the company's two other North American schools in Canada.
Eurocentres has opened its first English school in a non-Anglophone country in partnership with Study Union Barranquilla, a Colombian education agency. The move chimes well with Colombia's National Bilingual Programme.
Eurocentres, which welcomes 13,000 students every year worldwide, has entered the UK university pathway market with five universities in place for the launch of its UNICENTRES brand that aligns employability with HE and teaches at a new "boutique" hub in the centre of London.
Language teaching chain Eurocentres has moved its London school to new premises in the grounds of Eltham Palace, the childhood home of King Henry VIII. The new teaching centre will feature state-of-the-art classrooms within 25 minutes of central London.
ISIS Education, based in London, UK, has expanded its operations into North America by acquiring Vancouver Maple Leaf College Inc, which operates two English language schools in Canada under the Eurocentres brand.
