The PIE launches virtual online summit

Amid significant uncertainty for the international education sector, The PIE is launching a four-day virtual summit that will enable those working in the industry to network with each other as well as gain insights from leading commentators.

"We are using our position as a global media organisation to keep people connected and informed"

The PIE Live will be offering topical debates on issues from employability to digital innovation, as well as Country focus panels which will provide the latest insight and opinion on the market landscape.

Leading commentators such as Phil Honeywood of IEAA in Australia and Nick Hillman of HEPI in the UK will share a virtual stage to discuss the road ahead beyond Covid-19 in their respective nations.

“We are using our position as a community-building media organisation to keep people connected and informed,” explained Clare Gossage, COO at The PIE.

“It’s going to be a busy few days, following on from what should be an exciting virtual iteration of The PIEoneer Awards, complete with live video networking.”

With finalists from the well known PIEoneer Awards also able to attend The PIE Live, the event promises to be a dynamic and engaging experience.

Video networking for all delegates will be possible during dedicated networking hours, organised to suit all global time zones.

A series of Q&A interviews will also be streamed during the event focusing on new research or innovations happening in the global education scene.

Exclusive insight video series will also enable delegates to learn more about institutions and companies which were lucky enough to be finalists for this year’s awards.

Now in its fourth year, The PIEoneer Awards attracts hundreds of entries from around the world in 18 various categories – all focusing on innovation in international education.

Tickets are on sale now at just £195 – with a discount available until 28 August.
