The Queen’s Awards, which are awarded annually, recognise companies that are outstanding in their field.
“We are delighted to win this very prestigious award in our 60th year; it is a fantastic mark of how far we’ve come during this time”
The award for Enterprise in International Trade specifically recognises substantial overseas growth and commercial success, and marks St Giles’s achievements over the last six years.
In its 60 years of operation, the group has developed into an internationally recognised brand. With schools in the UK, US and Canada, the school now welcomes some 14,000 students annually.
The award was presented at the glitzy gala held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London , which was attended by some 250 people, by Royal Representative, Wing Commander Mike Dudgeon, Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London.
Managing director Mark Lindsay, who accepted a crystal bowl and scroll on behalf of the school during a formal ceremony at the dinner, thanked the staff, students and other long-term supporters of the group.
“I’ve enjoyed working with so many different people over the years and have grown fond of many of them,” he said.
“We are delighted to win this very prestigious award in our 60th year; it is a fantastic mark of how far we’ve come during this time,” commented sales and marketing director Hannah Lindsay.
“With our long history behind us, we feel it is important to learn and adapt so that we continue to meet the needs of our students and agents around the world, and this award is a great sign that we are continuing to do this.”
