Recruit in Canada has hosted fairs in Canada for the past 29 years, and partners with institutions, recruitment, and edtech companies to offer students and educators a wide variety of opportunities.

The organisation has been collaborating with the SchoolFinder group for “many years”, according to RIC director, Anita Kuehnel.

“This acquisition is almost a natural evolution of the business”

“The services provided by both our two business are very complementary, and this acquisition is almost a natural evolution of the business,” Kuehnel stated.

RIC also noted that there will be no changes to the fair schedule in the wake of the acquisition. The SchoolFinder Group announced that current SFG clients will have an opportunity to participate in one of the five upcoming fairs this fall.

“Integrating Recruit in Canada into the SchoolFinder Group provides a full suite of solutions to colleges and universities; from digital marketing and lead generation to education fairs,” said Chris Wilkins, founder and CEO of the SchoolFinder Group.

SFG will now offer its personalised tools such as drip email marketing, consulting, and its web-based customer relationship management program, ezRecruit, to all RIC members and participants.

Recruit in Canada’s network of providers and institutions will also have access to the SchoolFinder Groups community of hundreds of organisations and institutions, along with its 1.5 million students, parents, and counsellors.

“The Study and Go Abroad fairs will provide an opportunity to help more students find the right school,” Wilkins added.
