Studyportals noticed that more and more of its users were taking PTE Academic

When checking requirements for their university or course of choice on Studyportals, students will be able to see the minimum PTE Academic score they need to attain in order to be accepted.

“It felt like a logical step for both parties to start a partnership around PTE Academic”

This will allow the creation of a “one-stop”, time-saving service for students,Pearson’s vice-president of Assessment, English & Schools Freya Thomas Monk said in a press release.

“When students are looking at particular universities and courses on the Studyportals site they will now also be able to see the PTE Academic score required – a simple step, but one which saves them precious time searching themselves,” she said.

The idea for the partnership was developed as Studyportals noticed that more and more of its users had taken PTE Academic to prepare for their university application, so it seemed logical to provide them with more information on it, Studyportals’ thought leadership manager Carmen Neghina told The PIE News.

“We noticed that more and more of our users have taken the PTE Academic and they want to evaluate at which universities and programmes they can get accepted with their scores,” she said.

“It only felt like a logical step for both parties to start a partnership around PTE Academic.”

The PTE Academic is an English language test accepted by thousands of universities worldwide and offered on demand in over 50 countries. Studyportals’ “best fit”matching tool, helping students find the best university for their profile, was awarded with a PIEoneer Award in the category Digital Innovation of the Year -Technology.
