NCUK & Concourse announce p’ship

NCUK has partnered with Concourse in a bid to help international students whose study plans may be disrupted as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic via its online clearing system.

Concourse Global Enrollment’s clearing software aims to connect students with a “comprehensive” array of global university opportunities while avoiding problems related to travel uncertainties and other restrictions.

“NCUK’s in-country options are an ideal fit for students who want to start their international education journey a little closer to home”

Prospective students will be linked to NCUK Study Centre pathway programs before transferring to courses at NCUK partner universities in the UK and beyond on completion.

“NCUK’s in-country options are an ideal fit for students who want to start their international education journey a little closer to home. All of our students benefit from our 30 years of experience,” said Georgina Jones, Market Development Director for NCUK.

“At the same time, Concourse is the perfect platform for students to discover and access new higher education opportunities. We’re delighted to be working together to increase access to the options available from NCUK and help any student who is uncertain about getting to university.”

On the global clearing system, students and counsellors develop accurate academic profiles together before participating universities are delivered curated lists of well-matched student profiles.

The accelerated review of students is critical in 2020 as unforeseen delays and challenges add further uncertainties, the partners said.

The program compresses admission time, according to developers. In the initial global clearing pilot universities were able to make direct offers of admission and scholarship to students on the platform in under a week from start to finish.
