As part of the agreement, language schools in the International House network will be to offer the suite of Language Cert examinations to their students.

“Schools think differently about their businesses and are also looking at areas other than language education”

“LanguageCert is an excellent partner for the IH network,” IH COO Lucy Horsefield commented.

“Everyday our schools strive to offer a high quality, personalised language learning service to their students that will help them achieve their academic, work or travel goals. LanguageCert has a similar commitment to quality and innovation and the exams are very flexible so they complement our offer perfectly.”

Head of business development at LanguageCert Henry Tolley said in a statement that beyond the flexibility of its certifications, the provider can offer schools the possibility to differentiate their business, something that many are already looking into.

“Schools think differently about their businesses and are also looking at areas other than language education, so we are offering them the opportunity to differentiate and expand their businesses by adding I.T. and Business training and examinations,” he said in a statement.

“International House is a leading brand of schools, abiding by the highest standards in language education, which LanguageCert values greatly. We are excited at the opportunity of working with IH across all the different countries.”

The MoU was signed at the recent IH Academic Managers and Trainers Conference 2019 held in London on 10-12 January.

LanguageCert announced a strategic partnership with the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta in 2018.
