With Kaplan’s recent acquisition of Alpadia Language Schools, Kaplan has added French and German to its comprehensive portfolio of English language courses.

Kaplan has also agreed on a strategic partnership with language school Enforex to offer Spanish language courses.

In addition to its 36 English language schools in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Kaplan now offers French courses in Montreux and Lyon, German in Berlin and Freiburg, and Spanish in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Malaga.

“By adding new languages to our portfolio we are providing our partners with expanded opportunities for growth,” explained David Fougere, chief operating officer of Kaplan International Languages.

Kaplan’s recently acquired ESL is the largest European language agency with 46 offices across 11 countries, working with over 250 schools worldwide.

Kaplan International Languages is part of the Kaplan Inc. education company, established more than 80 years ago and owned by Graham Holdings Company, which has a global revenue of US$1.45 billion.
