Over that past 12 months, IDP has received over 30,000 queries from these markets in India

The ‘omnichannel’ offices will offer virtual and in-person counselling opportunities. IDP now has 67 offices in 60 Indian cities.

“We are leveraging the technology to its best in order to provide a world-class study abroad counselling experience to students via both virtual medium from the comfort of their homes and in-person medium at our physical premises through our omnichannel offices,” IDP told The PIE.

The offices will offer guidance on course and university selection, application submission, offer acceptance, visa assistance, finding accommodation, applying for health insurance, opening bank accounts for those hoping to study across popular study destinations such as Australia, US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Ireland.

The new locations are in cities that IDP says are a mix of state capitals and “educational hubs” in the country, where students have “huge interest” in studying abroad.

Over that past 12 months, IDP has received over 30,000 queries from the markets, it added.

“The launch of our new offices is one such step towards taking our world-class services closer to students residing in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities,” the company told The PIE.

“We are constantly working towards taking our expert guidance to every region”

“Being the only player in India with 67 omnichannel offices across 60 cities shows our commitment to enabling students from different parts of the country to fulfil their dreams and meet their educational and career aspirations,” Piyush Kumar, regional director (South Asia and Mauritius) of IDP Education added.

“We are constantly working towards taking our expert guidance to every region to empower as many students as we can with the right resources and information,” he added.

IDP is looking to strengthen its digital infrastructure and the support system to “serve our students at their convenience”.

Its IDP Live app, launched in 2021, is designed to allow students to “check their prospects of getting into their dream institution from the comfort of their homes”.

“Beyond this, we are also spreading our reach so every student across India can access expert guidance with no cost attached,” Kumar added.

“Last month, we launched four new offices, and now we are launching 23 more targeting Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities so every student across the country can avail of our world-class counselling services both from the comfort of their homes and in-person at our offices per their convenience.”
