ICEF Academy builds on a 12-year legacy of agent training and is designed to “to enhance the learning experience for participants”, the company said.
With the launch of the platform, ICEF will expand its current suite of agent training course offerings, which have seen a total of more than 55,000 enrolments. A total of six agent training courses are offered by the new platform.
The announcement comes after ICEF’s recent acquisition of digital platform PIER from Australia-based International Education Services.
“Training and development is a key priority for ICEF as we witness major changes to the industry and to student mobility in general,” said ICEF CEO, Markus Badde.
“There is a growing need for comprehensive and specialised training for education agents – in the interests of students, educators and the agents themselves.”

Among the agent courses offered on the platform are two professional courses, in addition to those that are destination-focused.
The Education Agent Training Course for Australia has seen more than 60,000 trainees globally. After hitting 1,000 graduates in 2019, the Canada Course for Education Agents is closing in on its 2,000th graduate.
In total, ICEF now has over 16,000 graduates, with 10,945 in the Education Agent Training Course and 5,100 for all ICEF courses.
“The launch of ICEF Academy marks the beginning of an exciting series of expansions to our professional development portfolio, with new courses and training resources to be added regularly,” Badde added.
Other courses on the platform include the Chinese-language China Education Agent Course, Canada Course for Education Agents, Irish Education Agent Course and US Agent Training Course.
