Embassy Summer announced its plans last week to introduce a “University Tours” three-day package in three different regions of the country: in and around Boston, New York and Los Angeles/Southern California.

Programme participants will be able to visit the country’s top educational institutions, including Columbia University and MIT as well as the Ivy League’s Harvard, Yale and Princeton universities.

“Thousands of international students each year benefit from the relationships that Embassy and Study Group have built with higher education institutions,” said Stu Gold, the Senior Vice President, Global Product Management and Marketing for Embassy English.

“Our new University Tours programme leverages these relationships to offer Embassy Summer students a unique experience – structured, facilitated visits to give them an insider’s perspective of life on a US college campus. These tours are organised and led by group leaders with years of experience.”

Study Group has partnerships with over 100 higher education institutions worldwide, with Embassy preparing more than 10,000 students for university study each year.

The new “University Tours” programme is part of Embassy Summer’s upgrade this year to provide new excursions and activities, dubbing it “The Best Summer Ever!” They are also increasing the staff training and including more demanding English language instruction.
