New “responsive” EC website offers virtual tours

Malta-based ELT company EC has launched a new website this month, offering 360-degree tours which means students and agents can get a good look at the school in which they will be studying.

“Mobile for us is growing at a phenomenal speed and we needed to be in front of it"

The responsive site will also provide monthly nationality mix breakdowns that can be visualised in an interactive chart. More student testimonials across a wider range of nationalities and destinations are also collected and showcased on the site to provide a greater sense of what student life might be like.

EC’s Director of Marketing, Martin Cieszewski, said: “Mobile for us is growing at a phenomenal speed and we needed to be in front of it.

“We listened to our students and partners and made every effort to answer all their research questions with a website that provided a wealth of information and got them as close to the EC experience as possible short of setting foot in a classroom.”

EC has also won an award for employee engagement and is celebrating this accolade, via Best Companies Index, which is earned by soliciting anonymous feedback from staff about the organisation they work for.

“People often talk about the correlation between highly engaged staff and customer service excellence,” said CEO Mike Xuereb. “At EC we measure the engagement of both our staff and our students, so we can show true evidence of this in practice.”

“We are thrilled to be developing an excellent workplace and revolutionising the service given to international students learning English in our schools.”

EC has 21 schools across 5 countries (USA, Canada, UK, Malta and South Africa).
