The institute has been approved to recruit students from outside the European Union

Holmes Institute Dublin, part of Holmes Education Group, will enrol its first cohort of students onto its BA (Honours) Business program in May 2022, with further intakes in September 2022 and January 2023. Modules on offer include design thinking, enterprise systems, and sustainable and ethical business.

Degrees will be awarded by Quality and Qualifications Ireland, the agency responsible for quality assurance of higher education in Ireland.

“This degree was developed during the pandemic for a new world of work and is welcomed by industry for its focus on digital skills,” said Eileen Buckley-Dhoot, dean academic of Holmes Institute Dublin, adding that the three-year program will prepare students for careers in sectors that are “rethinking the future and seeking digitally-enabled graduates”.

“Students will have access to a truly global program with a distinctly Irish flavour”

The institute, which describes itself as a “quality provider of modern business education” has also been approved to recruit students from outside the European Union.

Holmes Education Group runs 20 private campuses around the world, including Dublin, which cumulatively welcome over 15,000 students per year. Its other campuses are spread across countries including Australia, the UK, the US and Canada.

“We are absolutely delighted to be the newest private higher education institution in Ireland,” said Chris Bustin, director of global engagement for Holmes Education Group.

“Our strong track-record of innovation and success means students will have access to a truly global program with a distinctly Irish flavour.”

  1. I thought Holmes were banned from issuing CAS by the UKVI due to their poor track record with UK universities… Looks like they have moved on to Ireland!

  2. I would love ❤️❤️to be part of this brown new institution and to be a student as well in @holmes institute Dublin .
