Entitled Crehana Careers, the new courses are designed to help digital professionals who want to enhance their skills or increase employment opportunities.

“This year our goal is to really focus on student success,” said Diego Olcese Diaz, CEO and founder of Crehana.
“The launch…will provide students with the latest skills and knowledge needed to prepare them for the fast-paced and challenging world of digital creatives.”
Crehana currently has more than 365,000 students, with 101,000 in Mexico, 56,000 in Colombia, 55,000 in Peru, 34,000 in Spain and 29,000 in Argentina.
The company believes that the new training offers something that traditional education rarely allows.
“To become a successful digital creative, students have to practice their skills,” Diaz added.
“Our methodology is designed to turn theory into action, and help students develop a substantial portfolio of work from the get-go, rather than feeding them with general information.”
Students will specialise in particular areas and develop their career paths and will be able to finish ‘careers’ by studying eight hours a week over four months.
Crehana is hoping to help the one-fifth of young Latin Americans who are unemployed or not engaged in education or training by offering easy and affordable access to skills that are in demand.
The Peruvian company claims that with its help, Latin America can become a hotspot for digital skills.
Students will have designated tutors and top students will be offered job placements with creative agencies thanks to agreements that Crehana has developed.
Since 2015, the Peruvian company has raised $2 million in funding.
Learners have increasingly been turning to digital learning. Earlier in 2018, online learning platform Coursera revealed a trend towards tech-based courses in 2017, and a study found that the number of Chinese students undertaking part of their education online grew by 20%.
