The Diploma in Digital Marketing will begin in January 2019, aimed to offer international students a portfolio of courses and experiences.

“There are many education groups in the UK focusing on pathways to university, however we see a clear gap for offering innovative and career focused qualifications to international students… with countries like Canada and Australia [already doing so],” Stephan Roussounis, Managing Director of Bayswater Education said.

The courses target marketing and sales professionals wanting to gain further skills in digital area.

Students will take an exam at a Pearson VUE testing centre after the completion of the course, and will receive a diploma from Bayswater College.

As organisations allocate more budgets towards digital, the Bayswater College sees programs like the Digital Marketing Institute’s as the next in-demand professional training  certification.

According to Forbes, in the US alone, it is predicted that companies will spend about US$120 billion on digital marketing and an annual growth rate of 11% from 2017 to 2021. It is forecast that advertising on social media, online video and email will make up close to 46% of all advertising in five years.

“Digital marketing continue to be massive growth areas of international business,” Aaron McKenna, Managing Director at the Digital Marketing Institute said.

“Despite this, demand is outpacing the availability of professionals with proficient digital skill sets,” he added.

Digital marketing Institute certification was designed by digital experts and validated by digital heavy hitters such as Google and Facebook.

  1. I glad to see that more and more colleges are coming forward to teach Digital Marketing. Here in India, it has been only dominated by the local players whose certification isn’t worth it as it is not affiliated with any college neither any university.

  2. Many colleges are digital teaching latest digital marketing and gives students hands on experience of handling projects. In India, most digital marketing courses are run by private training institutes which lack the practical exposure.
