Key team members from Good Education Media will also be joining the SaaS-based student recruitment platform

The deal includes Good Education Media’s assets such as Good Schools Guide, Good Universities Guide, Studies in Australia, and Australian Course Information Register.

Key team members from Good Education Media will also be joining the SaaS-based student recruitment platform.

“Good Education Media and its well-respected brands complement the Adventus.io business very strongly, particularly data that sits at the core of our business,” said Ryan Trainor, CEO and co-founder of Adventus.io.

“We’re delighted to welcome the business and its dedicated and hardworking team into the Adventus.io family. Choosing the right school or tertiary institution is a big decision: we look forward to continuing and enhancing its high-quality and trustworthy information, including the annual university ratings in Australia.”

Over three decades, Good Education Media has offered assistance to Australians to make “informed choices” about best-suited schools and tertiary institutions.

Adventus.io expects a lot of traction in September when the next iteration of the university ratings is released.

“Our vision is to become the ‘Technology backbone for the industry'”

Launched in July 2020, the SaaS platform – with a AUS$22.7m backing – offers recruitment businesses a subscription-based model to access the platform and process student bookings.

In late 2021, it revealed Adventus Drive, a real-time data analytics platform aiming to help universities better understand the student acquisition funnel and “unlock potential” in their student pipeline.

“This is an exciting time for the group,” Trainor continued.

“Our vision is to become the ‘Technology backbone for the industry’, providing institutions the tools to assess, manage, and optimise their channels to students while giving radical transparency and intelligence to the industry. Good Education Media helps us to accelerate that aspiration.”

The Good Universities Guide’s next ratings will be launched on September 14.
