The Access Platform, UK. Dave Musson has joined The Access Platform as its Head of Community and Content. Dave has spent the last five years working in HE, initially as the University of Warwick’s strategic lead for social media and, most recently, as editor-in-chief of The Native with Natives Group. While at Warwick, Dave overhauled how the University approached social media and helped develop the organisation’s online capabilities by creating a network of digital champions. He also built a reputation as a public speaker and was co-chair of CASE Europe’s Social Media and Community Conference in 2016 and 2017. He was then approached by Natives Group to create, launch and edit The Native – a hub of inspirational content for social media professionals, community managers and content specialists. He hosted The Native Podcast, bringing weekly interviews with some of the sector’s biggest influencers. Dave says that when the opportunity arose to join the TAP family, it would have been dumb not to take it.
