Kaplan International Pathways, US. Dr. Yuhang Rong has joined Kaplan International Pathways as its strategic advisor for North America. Yuhang is the associate vice president emeritus at the University of Connecticut (UConn) and is serving his second elected term as the chair for the Board of Directors at the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in Washington, DC. Yuhang has almost 40 years of experience in education, holding leadership roles at UConn and UConn’s Neag School of Education. He has worked across student, international and academic affairs in higher education, as well as teacher quality enhancement in K-12 education. He has also authored and administered grants from the United States Department of Education. Upon joining Kaplan, Yuhang said: “I am looking forward to learning from the colleagues and contributing to the team’s excellent work in recruiting and preparing students from around the world for their success in pursuing a college education to realise their dreams of happiness in life and career,” said Yuhang.
