Studiosity, Australia. Troy Burnett has been appointed as Studiosity’s new senior vice president and general manager for North America, a key hire to lead the company’s expansion in the US and Canadian higher education markets. Troy joins Studiosity from Pathify, an EdTech specialising in student engagement portals, where he previously served as VP of sales. This hire reinforces Studiosity’s commitment to its North American growth. Studiosity CEO Mike Larsen previously said the company’s focus on expanding geographically, and Troy’s appointment is a concrete step toward that goal. His experience in the higher education technology space, specifically with platforms that enhance student experience and success, aligns with Studiosity’s mission. Studiosity recently joined the American Council on Education’s (ACE) Thought Leader Circle, a move that Troy described as “advancing our shared mission for ethical use of AI for learning.” This collaboration with a prominent US higher education organisation, coupled with Troy’s leadership, signals Studiosity’s strategic push to establish itself in the region.
