Duolingo, UK. Tamsin joins Duolingo as the Senior Strategic Engagement Executive for the Duolingo English Test, where she will be focusing on growing the Duolingo English Test acceptance in the UK. An international education professional with over 15 years experience, Tamsin is committed to reducing barriers to international education through scalable solutions. She began her career in the international office where she worked to increase student recruitment from West Africa, South Asia and the Middle East before moving to the United States. Tamsin joined the British Council USA in 2011 to promote UK higher education and international collaboration, serving on NACAC’s inaugural international advisory committee. Prior to returning to the UK, she worked with the College Board to support international engagement activities in the Middle East and South Asia. She joins Duolingo from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change where she promoted global citizenship education policy and programming as well as research on countering violent extremism. Tamsin holds a Bachelors in International Relations and a Masters in European Studies from the Universities of Keele and Birmingham respectively.
