Wellington College Education, UK. Sir Anthony Seldon has been appointed as the founding director of Wellington College Education to lead the development of the WCE strategy and to turn the concept of ‘network positive’ into an operational reality. Encompassing ten co-educational schools around the world as well as Festivals of Education in the UK, US, China and Thailand, WCE will expand educational opportunities and foster cultural connectivity through leadership, innovation and international collaboration. Sir Anthony, previously the 13th Master of Wellington College, an author and commentator on education and British political history, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He has a unique grasp of the broader context of global education and Wellington College Education specifically. He said, “I am delighted to rejoin the Wellington fold after a decade away. Wellington College Education, alongside our worldwide partners, aims to raise global educational standards and empower young minds.
