CQUniversity, Australia. Shehan Thampapillai has been elevated to the position of director, international at CQUniversity Australia. Shehan takes the role with over eight years of experience at the university, previously overseeing operations as the associate VP of the New South Wales region, and as deputy director of international business intelligence, marketing and development. Before his time at the university, he was business intelligence manager at RMIT University in Melbourne. In Shehan’s new role, he will be responsible for the development of international strategy relating to international marketing and recruitment, based on business intelligence and market analysis. He will work closely with and informs the development of recruitment and marketing planning for all aspects of the university’s international operations. Shehan said of his new post: “I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead CQUniversity’s international operations.I have big shoes to fill and I am looking forward to the opportunities and challenges this industry provides those, who work within it.”
