Pearson, UK. Sharon Hague has been appointed as president of Pearson’s English Language Learning (ELL) division. In her new role, Sharon will report to CEO Omar Abbosh and oversee the global expansion of the ELL business, including the development of AI-powered products and services. A 25-year Pearson veteran, Sharon served as managing director of Pearson School Qualifications and Assessments, where she led school and K-12 qualifications across the US, UK and international markets. Over the years, she has delivered consistent sales and margin growth through international expansion, digital innovation and operational efficiency.
