RMIT Vietnam. Professor Scott Thompson-Whiteside has commenced as pro vice-chancellor & general director for RMIT Vietnam. For over 25 years, Scott has played a leading role in private and public education across Australia, Asia and the UK. As well as a strong track record on academic performance, program and partnership growth, student experience and graduate outcomes, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge of international diplomatic and policy environments. Previous roles of Scott’s include executive dean, design and creative technology, at Torrens University Australia, and faculty pro vice chancellor of Swinburne University of Technology. In these roles, he led on innovative approaches to teaching delivery using online and blended pedagogies, a strong focus on experiential learning and authentic assessment with industry.
