CUBO, UK & Ireland. Sarah Clayton has joined higher education campus and commercial services association CUBO as Events and Engagement Manager. Sarah brings a wealth of experience in events management in higher education, most recently as Sales and Revenue Manager, Conferencing and Events, at the University of Birmingham. At CUBO, Sarah will be responsible for a range of virtual and physical events supporting the association’s mission to share knowledge, develop skills and drive best practice in HE and FE campus services. CUBO’s 800+ members are responsible for student accommodation, catering, sport, retail, residence life/student experience, soft facilities, nurseries and childcare, conferencing and events, among other services. Building on CUBO’s recent growth, Sarah will also help to recruit new members and corporate partners, and ensure that members and partners gain maximum benefit from CUBO. “This new role is central to CUBO’s strategy to connect, support and represent senior leaders, head of service, teams and commercial partners working in campus and commercial services, enabling them to support wider university missions, respond to change and new challenges, and create successful campuses of the future,” said Jan Capper, CUBO CEO.
