Bonn International School, Germany. Ryan Persaud has joined Bonn International School as director, bringing more than 25 years of international education leadership experience across Canada, South Korea, Brazil, and Thailand. Most recently, he served as head of school at VERSO International School, where he led strategic growth, innovation, accreditation, and community-building initiatives. Ryan is recognised for his learner-centred leadership, commitment to inclusion and belonging, and passion for future-focused education. Upon his appointment, Ryan said: “I am incredibly honoured and excited to join the BIS community. From my first conversations with the board and leadership team, it was clear that BIS is a school deeply committed to people, purpose, and possibility.
