Arden University, UK. Arden University has announced the arrival of Rob Barnsley as its first equality, diversity, inclusion (EDI) and talent partner. Working with the University, Rob will help define and deliver a culture-changing strategy to support Arden’s vision of being an Employer of Choice and ensuring that all employees have a sense of belonging. Rob brings with him 10 years of experience, having recently moved from Wesleyan, where he helped spearhead their work on EDI over the last four years, delivering a cultural change where everyone was able to bring their authentic self to work. Previously worked at Compass Group as head of emerging talent and diversity and inclusion and was responsible for the early careers, apprenticeships
and diversity and inclusion strategy whilst there. Rob said: “I am extremely excited about my new role. Joining a business that has well and truly got its foot in the door with regards to EDI, I look forward to working with the University on its journey
to becoming even more diverse and inclusive, ensuring that this is recognised internally and externally.”
