Studiosity, Global. Noreen Golfman has just been appointed to the Studiosity Academic Advisory Board. The Former Provost and Vice President Academic at Memorial University, St John’s, Newfoundland is a literature and film studies scholar, media writer, commentator, and actor, and was named the 2020 Woman of the Year by the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists. Noreen was also Dean of Graduate Studies at Memorial University, overseeing the large growth of international graduate students and initiatives to encourage equity, diversity, and inclusion at all of Memorial’s campuses. She was a two-term president of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences and President of the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies. She is also the founding director of the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival. She will contribute to Studiosity’s board, providing expert and independent advice to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity.
