The Access Platform, London, UK. Nick Golding, the Founder and former CEO of Cambridge Education Group, has joined The Access Platform as its Strategic Development Director. Nick has spent all of his career at the interface between international students and HEIs all over the world, building CEG from scratch until he exited altogether in 2013 when it was acquired by Bridgepoint. During Nick’s tenure CEG was formed from the colleges he co-founded, CATS and CSVPA, and the acquisition of Stafford House, and he was instrumental in the subsequent foundation of CEG’s OnCampus brand of university partnerships. TAP is an online tool which helps universities recruit more students through peer-to-peer conversations and/or User Generated Content and it supports communication in any language. Nick discovered TAP as one of a consortium of Cambridge Angel investors, and was so excited by it that he joined the company! He is looking forward to helping the TAP team roll out its platform with partners around the world, kicking off with NAFSA in May.
