Dr Nataliya Shiraz has commenced her new full-time role as Dean at Oxford Business College. She has dedicated over two decades to academic leadership, making significant contributions to the strategic direction, academic oversight, and development of staff and students at several esteemed higher education institutions in the UK. Her work has been instrumental in enhancing collaborative partnerships and contributing to the development of institutional learning and teaching strategies at London Metropolitan University, the University of Suffolk, and Ulster University. She completed her formal education at UCL, followed by a PhD in English Linguistics from the University of Cambridge (2009-2014). She also holds a Master of Arts in English Linguistics from UCL (2007-2008) and various qualifications in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and Advanced Research Skills. Dr Shiraz’s teaching experience is extensive, with previous roles including EAP Lecturer at Imperial College London Business School (2012-2016) and various EAP Lecturer positions at Birkbeck, University of London, London Metropolitan University, University of Greenwich, University of East London, and University of the Arts London. “I am really excited to bring wealth of experience and leadership to OBC and shape the future of teaching excellence and student success,” said Nataliya.
